About SYK Stock

We build automation for the people who own the process.

SYK Stock is a small team of engineers and operations people. We take manual, repetitive work and give it a system that runs without supervision.

Why we started

We spent years inside operations teams watching capable people spend their week copying values between systems, chasing approvals, and rebuilding the same report every Monday. The tooling to fix that existed. What was missing was anyone willing to sit with the process long enough to understand it.

SYK Stock was founded to do exactly that work. We map a process with the team that runs it, automate the stable parts, and leave clear handling for the exceptions. The result is measured the same way the business measures anything else: hours returned, errors avoided, and work that no longer waits on one person being at their desk.

Why AI automation, and why now

Rule-based automation broke on anything messy: a scanned invoice, a free-text email, a request that did not match the template. Language models handle that ambiguity well enough to put the remaining ninety percent of office work in scope. The constraint is no longer capability. It is knowing which processes are worth the effort and building them so they fail safely.

How we work

Map first

No automation is written before the current process is documented with the people who run it. That document is the deliverable you keep.

Fail loudly, not quietly

Every automation has a defined path for the cases it cannot handle. Work that needs a human gets routed to one, with context attached.

Leave it owned

Credentials, runbooks, and a walkthrough are handed over at the end of every engagement. Your team should be able to change it without calling us.

Start with the process that annoys everyone.

Bring one workflow to the call and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth automating.
